For celebrations that call for additional space, The Lake Lawn may be added to extend the experience outdoors, while The Carriage House offers another complementary setting nearby. How many guests does The Stables accommodate?
The Stables can accommodate up to 800 guests across its multiple event areas. The venue includes a Short Wing and Long Wing connected by a dramatic central rotunda, allowing different parts of a celebration to unfold throughout the building.
Where do the ceremony and reception take place?
Ceremonies are typically held in the Short Wing, with cocktail hour around the fountain and entrance to The Stables. Receptions may take place in the rotunda or continue into the Long Wing, depending on your guest count and vision for the celebration.
What type of feeling does The Stables have?
The Stables is dramatic and atmospheric, with soaring interiors, warm architectural details, and a statement chandelier at its center. Despite its impressive scale, the enclosed setting retains a sense of warmth and intimacy.
Is The Stables an indoor or outdoor venue?
The Stables is an enclosed indoor venue, with additional outdoor areas around the fountain and entrance that may be incorporated into the celebration. Its enclosed setting also makes it especially well suited to late-night events and after-parties.
Can The Stables be combined with other settings?
Yes. The Stables can be reserved with The Lake Lawn, The Carriage House, or both for a celebration that unfolds across multiple settings. The Carriage House and The Stables are also frequently paired, with earlier portions of the celebration taking place at The Carriage House before guests continue to The Stables for the reception or after-party.
How late can celebrations continue at The Stables?
Because The Stables is enclosed, music and dancing can continue until 4:00 AM, making it a popular setting for late-night celebrations and after-parties. After Hours at The Stables may also be added to events taking place elsewhere on the estate.
